Wallis Sands State Beach offers oceanfront swimming, views of the Isles of Shoals, and a sandy beach that families especially enjoy. Beach amenities include a store that sells a variety of items, food, and drinks; and a large bathhouse with outdoor rinse stations. The park has a grassy area with picnic tables, but fires are not allowed. The parking lot can accommodate 500 cars. Prior to visiting seacoast, familiarize yourself with the Seacoast Beach information as well as Seacoast Beach parking options.
Make a Reservation
Book a parking spot at Wallis Sands Beach:
Visitors can make a reservation before arriving at the park as parking is limited (especially on nice weekends and holidays). Walk-in spaces are available for visitors who do not make a reservation on a first come/first-serve basis. Reservations can be made up to 30 days prior to arrival and no later than 5pm on the day of your visit.

Parks Plate and Season Pass holders are also encouraged to make reservations. There is a $1 non-refundable online transaction fee. For more information visit our day-use reservation page. There will be an expanded number of walk-in parking spaces set aside for park plate/season pass holders.
NH Senior Citizens ages 65+: To receive your discount at Wallis Sands State Park (and all other per vehicle locations), check the NH Senior Citizens box in the primary occupant profile section of the order details page.

This park is always open for recreation unless otherwise posted. During off hours and the off-season the park is typically not staffed, comfort stations are not available and gates may be closed. The off-season poses unique risks inherent when participating in outdoor recreational activities. Recreationists should possess the necessary knowledge, skill, and equipment to ensure their own safety. Users assume all risk while recreating in State Park lands.
Fees
Parking fee is $15 per passenger vehicle. NH residents age 65 and over are admitted free. Season passes are available.
Are pets allowed at Wallis Sands State Park?
Pets are not permitted in the park. leashed pets are allowed when the park closes for the season, and until it opens in the spring. Please check signageat the park. See the NH State Parks Pets Policy for more information.
