New Hampshire boasts some of the finest skiing and snowboarding in the Northeast. A few of NH's downhill ski areas happen to be part of the NH State Park System. While Cannon Mountain is the only state-owned and operated ski area, Mount Sunapee Resort and Mount Prospect Ski Tow are also located on state lands and operated under lease agreements.
