Information:  A hybrid public information session for the final draft of the “Road Management Plan” and “Public Access
and Recreation Management Plan." These plans are required per the Grant of Conservation
Easement for the Connecticut Lakes Headwaters Property. The Connecticut Lakes Headwaters Citizens
Committee has held public meetings to discuss both of these management plans and meeting information
is located below.
 
Public comment on the proposed plans will be accepted before May 1, 2024.

The Connecticut Lakes Headwaters Citizens Committee is established by (RSA 12-A:9-b). The committee is made up of 14 members, 7 members are residents of the Great North Woods region.

The committee provides management advice to the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources and the Fish and Game Department on the monitoring of and compliance with the term of the Connecticut Lakes Headwaters Forest Legacy Easement and on a variety of issues, including public recreation, revisions to the stewardship and management plans, and camp leases. The Division of Parks and Recreation provides administrative assistance to the committee.
