Limitless Adventure: Moose Brook State Park

What's up everybody, I'm Ian and this is Limitless Adventure! We're here at Moose Brook State Park today. We've got some hiking and swimming in store, but today's main event is a nice long bicycle tour.

So let's head out and ride. This park is loaded with a bunch of single track, but for today we're going to head out for a longer ride on the Presidential Rail Trail. You can connect right to the Presidential Rail Trail right from Moose Brook.

It stretches out about 18 miles, so you can ride out as far and long as you want. The scenery on this ride has just been amazing. We've ridden through thick woods, we've crossed over streams on wooden bridges.

Now we come out to this wide open area with this beautiful view of the mountains and this is just, this is amazing, I can't describe it. We turned around at about the six mile mark. I love that this trail has some nice flat gravel terrain, perfect for taking in your surroundings.

Right now I'm looking forward to getting back to Moose Brook for a swim. Just got back from my ride, I'm looking forward to cooling off, jumping in the swimming pool here. This water feels great on a day like today, plus I got this great little jumping area.

The water's a little chilly, but feels really good. Still got a couple of hours of daylight left, thought we'd head out on a hike. There's miles and miles of trails right off the campground here.

This park has such a great feeling to it. I'm surrounded by dense forests, you've got these crisscrossing streams, wooden bridges, really feel connected with nature here. We fit in a couple miles of trail hiking, I really love this park.

Now I'm ready to head back to the campsite, get a good fire rippin'. I've had such a great day here at Moose Brook State Park. It's amazing how many activities you can do right from the campground.

Until next time though, I'm Ian and this is Limitless Adventure.
