Wentworth State Park spans 50 acres and is located on the shore of scenic Wentworth Lake. Popular activities in the park include swimming, picnicking and fishing. Amenities include picnic tables, flush toilets and a group use area.
Make a Reservation
Book your trip to Wentworth Beach: Visitors should make a reservation before arriving at the park as parking is limited. Visitors who do not make a reservation will be turned away. When planning a visit, reservations must be made prior to the arrival and no later than 3pm the day of your visit. Please plan ahead in the event the parking areas reach capacity.
Parks Plate and Season Pass holders are also encouraged to make reservations. There will be a limited number of parking spaces set aside for plate/pass holders. There is a $1 non-refundalble online transaction fee. For more information visit our day-use reservation page.

This park is always open for recreation unless otherwise posted. During off hours and the off-season the park is typically not staffed, comfort stations are not available and gates may be closed. The off-season poses unique risks inherent when participating in outdoor recreational activities. Recreationists should possess the necessary knowledge, skill, and equipment to ensure their own safety. Users assume all risk while recreating in State Park lands.
Admission is $4 for adults; $2 for children ages 6-11; children ages 5 and under and NH residents age 65 and over are admitted free. Season passes are available. When park is unstaffed during the season, please use Iron Ranger (self-serve paystation).
Are pets allowed at Wentworth State Park?
