NOTICE: Bureau of Trails staff will be performing repairs to the washout on the Ammonoosuc Rail trail from the intersection of RT 302 heading north to the River Road crossing in Bath, NH starting Tuesday. Please use caution when approaching machines and follow all instructions of the staff. Thank you for your patience.

The Ammonoosuc Rail Trail is 19 miles long and goes between Woodsville and Littleton.  The Ammonoosuc River provides a gorgeous backdrop to this trail.  In Bath, you can see the magnificent 345 foot covered bridge that was built in 1832.  The Lisbon Depot is another must see along the trail. The trail starts at Central Street in Woodsville and ends at Industrial Park Road in Littleton.

Parking Areas

Lisbon: Parking is available in Lisbon, NH off Central Street (Landaff Road). Look for the trail parking signs. Gas and food are available in Lisbon and Woodsville. 
Littleton: Parking is available on Industrial Park Road in Littleton, NH (just south of Riverside Drive). Look for the trail parking signs. Google shows this location as “Ammonoosuc Rail Trail Parking” in Littleton, NH.
