New Seacoast Manager to be Introduced at Annual Community Meeting

(Hampton Beach, NH) – On April 26, the Division of Parks and Recreation will hold its annual spring community meeting at Hampton Beach State Park and introduce the new Seacoast Regional Manager, Brian Wilson.

Mr. Wilson starts on April 18 and is returning to New Hampshire from a position as the Director of Parks and Recreation in Canton, CT. Before moving to CT, he spent several years working at the Dover Recreation Department and is a UNH graduate.

“We are very excited to have Brian on board to focus on management of our extraordinary seacoast state parks,” stated Phil Bryce, director of the Division of Parks and Recreation. “I know he is enthusiastic about taking the reins and his background working for municipalities and his strong management skills is the right combination for a successful Seacoast Manager.”

“I am very excited about joining the New Hampshire Division of Parks and Recreation,” said Brian Wilson. “I look forward to learning the ins and outs of the parks operation and working with all staff, volunteers, and other agencies and groups that make the seacoast what it is.”

At the community meeting, state park personnel will provide updates on activities and improvements at the state park over the winter, review plans for the upcoming summer, and answer questions.
The meeting will be held from 10 am to 12 pm in the Oceanfront conference room at the Hampton Beach Seashell. All are invited to attend.
