Winslow State Park, is located on the northwest slope of Mt. Kearsarge in Wilmot, New Hampshire. The picnic area is on an 1,820-foot plateau with outstanding views of the White Mountains to the north and the taller of the southern and central Vermont peaks. Mt. Sunapee, Ragged Mountain, and Pleasant Lake dominate the closer landscape. A one-mile foot trail leads from the picnic area to the summit of Mt. Kearsarge. A 1- 3/4 mile trail offers a loop possibility.
NOTE: The gate at Winslow State Park is now open for the season (as of April 16, 2020).

Please Note: Dates and times are weather dependent and subject to change without notice. For up to date hours, please call the park directly. This park is always open for recreation unless otherwise posted. During off hours and the off-season the park is typically not staffed, comfort stations are not available and gates may be closed.

The off-season poses unique risks inherent when participating in outdoor recreational activities. Please be aware that many State Park areas and trails are not staffed during the off-season, and day-use fees are not collected. Recreationists should possess the necessary knowledge, skill, and equipment to ensure their own safety. Users assume all risk while recreating in State Park lands.
NH State parks will be utilizing our online day use reservation system at Winslow State Park.
Visitors must make their reservation before arriving at the park as parking is limited. Visitors who do not make a reservation will be turned away. When planning a visit, reservations must be made prior to the arrival and no later than 9 a.m. the day of your visit. Please plan ahead in the event the parking areas reach capacity.
Parks License Plates, Season Passes and Discounts: Visitors with pre-paid or discounted access to NH State Parks are encouraged to make online reservations as well. When making a reservation you can indicate that you are a pass/parks plate holder and you will not be charged the day-use/parking fee. However there will still be a $1 transaction fee for using the online reservation system.
Pre-paid and discounted access includes: the State Park License Plate, Seasons Passes, New Hampshire Seniors, New Hampshire Seniors, New Hampshire National Guard, New Hampshire Disabled Veterans, and Active Military.
In the case that those with pre-paid or discounted access choose not to purchase a day use pass or parking pass reservation, we will be setting aside a limited number of parking spaces for pre-paid and discounted access based upon historical use.

Fees: $4 per person ages 12 and older, $2 per person ages 6-11.children ages 5 and under and NH residents age 65 and over are admitted free. Season passes are available. When park is unstaffed during the season, please use Iron Ranger (self-serve paystation)

The Sunapee-Ragged-Kearsarge Greenway
The Sunapee-Ragged-Kearsarge Greenway is a 75 mile loop trail that links four New Hampshire State Parks: Sunapee, Winslow, Rollins, Wadleigh. The trail also links three New Hampshire State Forests: Gile, Kearsarge and Shadow Hill as well as one Wildlife Management Area: Bog Mountain.
