Lake Francis State Park lies on the shores of Lake Francis a 2,000 acre lake near the Connecticut Lakes of the Great North Woods region. Canoe rentals are available. Hunters and anglers enjoy this park as a base for their respective activities. With added ATV camping sites, riders are able to leave their campsite and head right out on the trails. Trails from Lake Francis State Park connect with the 1000 mile of trailsfor OHRV riding in Coos County.
Canoeists enjoy exploring the upper part of the Connecticut River. Lake Francis campground provides 45 sites including 9 sites with water/electric (20amp) hook-ups and 9 sites for ATV camping.

This park is always open for recreation unless closed or restricted by posting. During the off-season the park is typically not staffed and comfort stations are not available.
