Ellacoya State Park is located in Gilford on the southwest shore of Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire's largest lake. The 600-foot long sandy beach, with views across the lake to the Sandwich and Ossipee mountains, is a great place to spend with the family for a full day of swimming and picnicking. The campground includes 37 sites available by reservation only, and offers three-way hook-ups. Tents are not allowed at the RV park. Pets are not allowed in the RV campground or in other areas of the park. Click here for Ellacoya State Park campground information.
Ellacoya State Park is a great location to hold a family reunion, corporate outing, wedding, and more. For more information, check out our Outings in State Parks page and see a complete listing and photos of all our State Park Pavilions and Group Use Areas.
Notice: Due to the popularity of Ellacoya State Park's beach area on nice weekends and holidays, the beach will most likely sell-out in the morning hours. Once the beach area reaches capacity additional beach goers cannot be admitted due to safety concerns.
Please Note: Dates and times are weather dependent and subject to change without notice. For up to date hours, please call the park directly. This park is always open for recreation unless otherwise posted. During off hours and the off-season the park is typically not staffed, comfort stations are not available and gates may be closed.
