Crawford Notch State Park has 5,775 acres providing access to numerous hiking trails, waterfalls, fishing, wildlife viewing, and spectacular mountain views. Crawford Notch State Park is rich in history with the famous Willey House. The campground in the park is Dry River Campground and offers 36 wooded sites. Dry River Campground Information.
Notice: There will be no access to water or flush toilets at Dry River Campground from November 16-22, 2020. Campers must bring thier own water and it will be pit toilets only.
The Willey House Gift shop and visitor information center is closed and unstaffed for the 2020 summer season.
This park is always open for recreation unless closed or restricted by posting. During off hours and the off-season the park is typically not staffed, comfort stations are not available and gates may be closed. The off-season poses unique risks inherent when participating in outdoor recreational activities. Please be aware that many State Park areas and trails are not staffed during the off-season, and day-use fees are not collected. Recreationists should possess the necessary knowledge, skill, and equipment to ensure their own safety. Users assume all risk while recreating in State Park lands.
Willey House Operating Schedule: The Willey House is currently closed. Normal operating hours are 9:30 - 5pm. *Operating dates and times are subject to change without notice. For up to date hours, please call the park directly.

Please note: The main operating season for the campground is Memorial Day to Columbus Day. Outside of the main camping season, (early spring and late fall) camping is first come, first serve and weather permitting. Staffing, services, and facilities may be limited during this time. Please use iron ranger (self-service pay station) to make payment.
Discover the Power of Parks Programming
Interpretive, nature-based programs will be offered at Crawford Notch State Park all summer long as part of the Discover Power of Parks. Programs will be presented by our SCA Interpretive Rangers in the park each week. Check out the Crawford program schedule for more information. All programs are free with paid park admission. No pre-registration is required.
Are pets allowed at Crawford Notch State Park?
Leashed pets are permitted in all areas of the park except inside the Willey House. See the NH State Parks Pets Policy for more information.
