Activities and Amenities

Clough State Park is located on the shore of Everett Lake, a 150-acre lake formed by a dam on the Piscataquog River. The park has a 900-foot sandy beach, playing fields and large picnic areas. Portable toilets are available at the beach. There are no lifeguards on duty.

*Note about GPS Navigation: Check your destination/location carefully as some GPS applications may be inaccurate. Clough State Park is not accessible from the Hopkinton-Everett Trails Area (Dunbarton Riding Area) off of Ray Road (Burroughs Road is a gated/dirt road). For an alternate address use Everett Dam Road in Weare, NH (the state park beach is located next to Everett Dam).

Make a Reservation

Book your trip to Clough State Park: Visitors should make a reservation before arriving at the park as parking is limited. Visitors who do not make a reservation will be turned away. When planning a visit, reservations must be made prior to the arrival and no later than 9am the day of your visit. Please plan ahead in the event the parking areas reach capacity.

Beach Reservations

Parks Plate and Season Pass holders are also encouraged to make reservations. There will be a limited number of parking spaces set aside for plate/pass holders. There is a $1 non-refundalble online transaction fee. For more information visit our day-use reservation page.

*Operating dates and times are weather dependent and subject to change without notice.  For up to date hours, please call the park directly. The gates for the park close at 5pm daily.

This park is always open for recreation unless closed or restricted by posting. During off hours and the off-season the park is typically not staffed, comfort stations may not be available and gates may be closed. The off-season poses unique risks inherent when participating in outdoor recreational activities. Recreationists should possess the necessary knowledge, skill, and equipment to ensure their own safety. Users assume all risk while recreating in State Park lands.

Fees

Admission is $4 for adults; $2 for children ages 6-11; children ages 5 and under and NH residents age 65 and over are admitted free. Season passes are available. When park is unstaffed during the season, please use Iron Ranger (self-serve paystation).

Are pets allowed at Clough State Park?
