Jenness State Beach is a great family location with an Atlantic ocean-front setting - its sandy beach is ideal for swimming and picnicking. Amenities at the beach include a bathhouse. Metered parking is available for 67 cars. Pay Stations that are located at State Beaches accept cash and coins as well as credit and debit cards. Prior to visiting the NH seacoast, familiarize yourself with the Seacoast Beach information as well as Seacoast Beach parking options.
NOTICE: The Jenness State Beach parking lot will be closed to the public overnight Monday July 15th, 8:00pm through Tuesday July 16th, 8:00am for parking lot space numbering.
Jenness State Beach opens full-time for the season on May 31 and closes October 31. Metered Parking hours are from 8:00 am to midnight. Bathhouse is open from 8am to 8pm each day until Labor Day.
Lifeguarding Schedule: Lifeguards are on duty from May 25th through August 28th, 2019. Lifeguard hours are 10 am to 4:45 pm daily.

This park is always open for recreation unless closed or restricted by posting. During off hours and the off-season the park is typically not staffed and comfort stations are not available and gates may be closed. The off-season poses unique risks inherent when participating in outdoor recreational activities. Please be aware that many State Park areas and trails are not staffed during the off-season, and day-use fees are not collected. Recreationists should possess the necessary knowledge, skill, and equipment to ensure their own safety. Users assume all risk while recreating in State Park lands.
