Fort Hill Recreational Rail Trail

Activities and Amenities

This 9 mile trail is located completely in Hinsdale, NH. It begins at the old bridge on Rt. 119 and continues south along the Connecticut River where is ends at Rt. 63.

Parking Areas

Hinsdale: Parking at trailhead off Rt 63 in Hinsdale (42.758734, -72.471312). Good size dirt lot. Sign for parking for both Fort Hill & Ashuelot RT.

  • Second parking for Fort Hill off Prospect St (42.786639, -72.504776).
  • 3rd parking site off Rt 119/Battleboro Rd (42.794105, -72.515380).
