About the Park

The Daniel Webster Birthplace is associated with the birth and early childhood years of Daniel Webster, one of our country's most respected orators and statesmen. While the site affords a view of the early years of Daniel Webster, it also provides a glimpse of 1700s farm life in the infant years of the United States.

At a bend in the road, crossing over a small brook, the two-room log cabin cabin sits in a clearing on a slight hill.  Even today the property is quiet and secluded giving the sense that not much has changed.  Exploring the area it is easy to imagine what was like growing up in the late 1700’s.  To read more about my experience click here, Daniel Webster Birthplace.
