School Groups

Are you in charge of youth programming?

Our campgrounds offer youth group campsites and group rates on day-use admissions. Big or small, our facilities can accommodate groups of any size at our beautiful pavilions and group areas.

New Hampshire state parks welcome school groups to visit our parks anytime. With much to offer from swimming, to hiking, sight-seeing to historic adventures, there is sure to be fun had by all. We do request that you make your reservations at least two weeks prior to your visit to ensure that space is available at the park on your anticipated visit date.

New Hampshire School Groups can visit any park during the off-season for free. Our off-season starts after Labor Day through June 19. Please note: This offer is not valid at the Flume Gorge, Monadnock, Miller, Rollins and Winslow from June 20th through November 1st.

The adult to children ratio for this offer is one adult for every 6 to 10 youth. Any adult above this ratio must pay the group-use admission fee for the park visited. Contact the park directly for specific group use rates.

Out-of-State school groups can visit any day-use park at a reduced rate. Please call the park for further rate information and to schedule your visit.

All school groups who do not qualify for the NH  State Parks Bus Pass Program wishing to visit the day-use parks during our peak season (June 21 - Labor Day) can qualify for the youth-group rate. Please call the park for further rate information and to schedule your visit.

For information on school groups wishing to visit the Flume Gorge or the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway, please contact the Group Coordinator for Franconia Notch State Park at 603-823-8800.
