Stop by the camp store to learn tips and tricks for recycling and having a happy stay at Bear Brook.

Local Legends at The Fire
Gather ‘round the fire next to the camp playground and enjoy some tales of Bear Brook! Feel free to bring your own marshmallows.

Oh, What a Beautiful Morning!
Meet at the camp store and start the day off right, with a hike! We’ll take a short 1.5 mile hike around Beaver Pond and learn about the wildlife around us. Please bring your water and bug spray.

Creatures of the Pond
Get up close to Bear Brook’s pondlife! Learn about and catch some of the ponds’ creatures. Saturday ponding will be at Beaver Pond and Sunday ponding will be at Catamount Pond.

Sights and Sounds of The Night
Use your different senses to explore the environment around you in a new way. Meet at the camp store with your flashlight and bug spray for this short walk in the woods.

Bear Brook’s Past and Present
Visit the Old Allenstown Meeting House on Deerfield Road and learn how communities have come together in the past and present to use this historic building.

The Corps of Our Parks
Visit the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Museum, the first building on the left on Depot Road. Learn how Bear Brook was built during one of America’s most challenging periods.
