Bear Brook Programs

The 2018 Discover the Power of Parks program year has begun. Interpretive ranger, Bethany Bryant has planned informative and fun programs for you to take advantage of while visiting Bear Brook State Park. All programs are free with paid park admission. No pre-registration is required.

Meet Me at the Meeting House
Learn your local history as we tour treasured community landmarks. Find out what communities can accomplish when we come together.

Star of wonder

There are stories in the stars! Meet up at the baseball field with your flash light and bug spray. We will explore the constellations and the secrets they hold!

Let’s Get Crafty

Let’s learn about recycling as we reuse material to make a craft! Meet me by the camp store to learn more!

Enjoy Your Space Leave No Trace

Discover how to explore your park without leaving a trace! Meet me at the camp store to learn more.

Fires and Phantoms
Come hear folk tales and legends! Bring some marshmallows and stories of your own as we gather around the fire near playground area.

I’m Ponding Away

Discover what’s living in your pond. Meet me at Beach and find life under water! On Saturday Ponding will be at Beaver Pond and Sunday it will be at Catamount Pond.
