Park Operating Schedules

This park is always open for recreation unless closed or restricted by posting. During the off-season the park is typically not staffed and comfort stations are not available. 

Off-season use: During off hours and the off-season the park is typically not staffed, comfort stations are not available and gates may be closed. The off-season poses unique risks inherent when participating in outdoor recreational activities. Recreationists should possess the necessary knowledge, skill, and equipment to ensure their own safety. Users assume all risk while recreating in State Park lands.

Lodges at Coleman State Park

The Lodges are an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts in New Hampshire’s Great North Woods region! Located in Stewartstown (twelve miles east of Colebrook), The Lodges have a wide variety of recreational opportunities available. The Lodges have direct trail access to the OHRV corridor system, snowmobile corridors (5 and 18 Ride the Wild) and is within walking distance to Little Diamond Pond for fishing and boating. The Lodges at Coleman State Park is an excellent base for snowmobiling, OHRV riding, fall hunting, hiking, canoeing, and snowshoeing.

Whiskey Jack Lodge 

$195 nightly rate for up to 8 guests (max of 8 guests): Amenities includes 2 bedrooms, furnished living room, 1 bunk bed (twin top, full bottom), 2 full futons (located in living room), 1 queen bed, gas fireplace, full bathroom, full master bathroom,dining area, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, satellite television, parking, phone, and 1 bay garage. Linens are provided.

Osprey Lodge

$195 nightly rate for up to 8 guests (max of 8 guests): Amenities includes 2 bedrooms, furnished living room, 2 bunkbeds (twin on top/full on bottom), queen bed, full futon (located in living room), gas fireplace, full bathroom, full master bathroom, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, parking, phone, satelite television, and 1 bay garage. Linens are provided.

Marten Lodge Room 

$80 nightly rate for up to 4 guests (max of 4 guests): Amenities includes 2 beds (one queen, one full futon), 3/4 bathroom, microwave, mini refrigerator, Keurig, satellite television, and phone. Linens are provided.

Grey Jay Lodge

$100 nightly rate for up to 4 guests (max of 4 guests): Amenities includes 2 beds (one queen, one queen sleeper sofa), ¾ bathroom, small kitchenette including: pots, pans, utensils, 2 burner cook top (no oven), microwave, Keurig, satellite television, and phone. Linens are provided. Grey Jay Lodge is connected to Whiskey Jack Lodge.

Brookie Cabin 

$65 nightly fee for up to 4 people (max of 4 guests). This cabin has one room with a bunk bed. Top bunk is twin, bottom is full with a pull out twin trundle under the bed. Cabins include a table with two stools, along with two table trays. Lighting is solar powered and there is a propane heater. Outside of each cabin there is picnic table and fire pit. Winter parking is located by the Recreation Hall, approx. 300 ft. from cabins. Guests must walk or snow machine to the cabins.
Linens are not provided, and pets are not allowed in the cabins.

Laker Cabin

Reserve Mohawk Cabin

Perch Cabin

$65 nightly fee for up to 2 people. This cabin is situated on a small hill with one room and a queen-sized bed. It also has a small table and two small stools. Lighting is solar powered and there is a propane heater. Summer and winter parking is located by the Recreation Hall. Guests must walk or snowshoe to the cabins in winter; snowmachines and OHRVs are not allowed up the hill.
Linens are not provided, and pets are not allowed in the cabins.

Reservations

For reservations of a week or more, a one-night deposit will be accepted. The deposit can be paid by calling NH State Parks HQ at 603-271-3556. Pets are not permitted in the cabins. There is a 2-night minimum. One night stays will be considered if availability allows, please contact the Coleman Lodge at 603-237-5324 for more information. The maximum reservation window is 11 months in advance and sites become available at 8AM (Mon-Fri) and 9AM (Sat&Sun) on the 11 month mark. This is for all NH State Campgrounds except the Lodges at Coleman State Park. The maximum reservation window for the Lodges at Coleman State Park is 12 months in advance and sites become available at 8AM (Mon-Fri) and 9AM (Sat&Sun) on the 12 month mark. For one night stays - reserve at the park.
