GRANTS
For countless years, recreational trails have played an intricate role in the culture and lifestyles of New Hampshire's residents and guests. Whether on foot, wheels, skis, tracks, hoofs, tires, or paws, the enjoyment of experiencing recreational trails is universal.
The Bureau of Trails is set up to work with all trail users and the different types of trails that are designated for public use. Guidance and financial support to private groups, trail clubs, municipalities, and state and federal agencies is available for a variety of trail projects and issues.
The Bureau also helps communities with combining the recreational value of trails and the historic recognition of certain corridors.
The NH Business and Economic Affairs (BEA) has created a curated set of web modules to assist communities and organization with outdoor recreation. These tools can help assist communities and trail organizations with planning their RTP or GIA projects.
