  Governor’s Office of Emergency Relief & Recovery (GOFERR) Awards CARES ACT Funds to Snowmobile Clubs
In 2020 the GOFERR, in conjunction with the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, Division of Parks and Recreation, Bureau of Trails, has awarded 30 Grant-In-Aid (GIA) participating NH snowmobile clubs with CARES ACT funds. These funds were made available to assist clubs that have suffered an income loss due to limited fundraising abilities from COVID-19. The available funds totaled $250,000. NH has 100 GIA participating clubs, of which 33 applied and 30 received awards.
