At Odiorne Point State Park picnickers can enjoy sweeping views of the ocean and rocky shore, and explorers can uncover evidence of past military occupation. An extensive network of trails wind through the dense vegetation and traverse the park. The Seacoast Science Center, which is located in the park, has exhibits relating to the natural and human history of Odiorne and the seacoast area (separate fee).
Note: playground equiptment is closed until further notice.
Make a Reservation
Reservations are now required at Odiorne Point State Park: Visitors should make a reservation before arriving at the park as parking is limited. Visitors who do not make a reservation will be turned away. When planning a visit, reservations must be made prior to the arrival and no later than 9am the day of your visit. Please plan ahead in the event the parking areas reach capacity.

Parks Plate and Season Pass holders are also encouraged to make reservations. There will be a limited number of parking spaces set aside for plate/pass holders. There is a $1 non-refundalble online transaction fee. For more information visit our day-use reservation page.
Please Note: Dates and times are weather dependent and subject to change without notice. For up to date hours, please call the park directly. This park is always open for recreation unless otherwise posted. During off hours and the off-season the park is typically not staffed, comfort stations are not available and gates may be closed.

The off-season poses unique risks inherent when participating in outdoor recreational activities. Please be aware that many State Park areas and trails are not staffed during the off-season, and day-use fees are not collected. Recreationists should possess the necessary knowledge, skill, and equipment to ensure their own safety. Users assume all risk while recreating in State Park lands.
Seacoast Science Center Programming
The Seacoast Science Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing educational experiences at Odiorne Point State Park on behalf of New Hampshire State Parks. The Seacoast Science is currently open on weekends only from 10 am to 4 pm.
Admission is $4 for adults; $2 for children ages 6-11; children ages 5 and under and NH residents age 65 and over are admitted free. Season passes are available. When park is unstaffed during the season, please use Iron Ranger (self-serve paystation). Additional fee for The Seacoast Science Center.
Weddings and Events at Odiorne Point State Park
Surrounded by beautiful stonewalls and overlooking the ocean, Odiorne Point provides a natural backdrop and intimate setting for your next special occasion. Odiorne Point State Park offers one of the most beautiful and diverse natural settings along New Hampshire's coastline with 135-acres of rocky shoreline, sandy beaches, salt marsh, freshwater and salt ponds, dense forest , military and historical sites all connected by an extensive trails system.
Odiorne Point Events/Weddings Information Sheet
A 3,200 sq. ft. (40’x80’) multi-peaked event tent will be installed for the season and is available to customize for your function. The group-use area rental fee includes event tent, mast pennants, interior perimeter tent lighting and electrical power.
