The N.H. Department of Natural and Cultural Resources will host a public information session regarding a utility safety upgrade project at Miller State Park on Oct. 16. The session will take place from 6-8 p.m. at Shieling State Forest in Peterborough.

The meeting will focus on Phase I of a two-phase project, which consists of upgrading the utility lines/corridor from Rt. 101 to just below the summit.

The N.H. Department of Natural and Cultural Resources was established by an act of the Legislature on July 1, 2017. Its five divisions – Parks and Recreation, Forests and Lands, the State Library, Historical Resources and the State Council on the Arts– are dedicated to protecting, promoting and managing a wide variety of New Hampshire’s natural, recreational and cultural resources. Together, these resources help define our state and are major drivers of our economy and high quality of life.
