07/29/2025

A7407945.jpegConcord, NH (July 29, 2025) — NH Division of Parks and Recreation and the Ocean Lifeguards of NH State Beach Patrol will once again host the 2025 Water Safety Day on Wednesday, July 30, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hampton Beach Seashell Complex, 180 Ocean Blvd., Hampton, NH.

Launched in 2015, Water Safety Day is a hands-on public outreach event designed to highlight essential safety tips for anyone enjoying New Hampshire State Parks’ oceanfront beaches, lakes, and rivers. The event brings water safety to life with live rescue demonstrations, interactive discussions, and educational activities—plus a strong environmental focus that encourages conservation and respect for our natural waterways.

Agencies and partners attending this year’s event include: NH State Beach Patrol, Hampton Fire Rescue, Hampton Police Dept., NH State Police Marine Patrol Division, NH State Fish & Game, Seacoast Science Center, Marine Mammal Rescue, Blue Ocean Society, NOAA, Atlantic White Shark Conservancy, US Coast Guard, HCA Healthcare/Portsmouth Hospital, Cinnamon Rainbows Surf Co., and US Lifesaving Association Swim for a Change.

This is a great family event and parents are encouraged to bring their children to learn more about water safety and how summer vacation can be both fun and safe.
