STATEWIDE TRAILS ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The Statewide Trails Advisory Committee exists for the purpose of advising the Director of Parks and Recreation on matters related to the New Hampshire statewide trail system. The members of the committee equally represent the general public and the different trail interests involved. Committee meetings are open to the public pursuant to RSA 91-A:2 II; however, such meetings do not constitute public hearings.
This committee shall include, but not be limited to, representation from the following: Bureau of Trails; Department of Fish and Game; Office of Energy and Planning; Department of Transportation; Governor's Commission on Disability; New Hampshire Snowmobile Association; New Hampshire Off-Highway Vehicle Association; Appalachian Mountain Club; New Hampshire Municipal Association; Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests; New Hampshire Heritage Trail; New Hampshire Farm Bureau Federation; New Hampshire Horse Council, Inc.; the New Hampshire Mushers Association; the Bicycle Trail Coordinator from the Department of Transportation; and a representative of landowners.
