Public Hearing Notice: OHRV Use on Route 16 in Gorham

The N.H. Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, Bureau of Trails and the Gorham Select Board will host a public meeting, pursuant to RSA 215-A:10, IV, regarding expanding OHRV use to include additional portions of NH Route 16, on February 10th, 2020. The public meeting will take place at 6 pm at the Gorham Town Hall, 20 Park Street, in the Public Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, as part of the regular Select Board Meeting.  The meeting location is handicapped accessible.

The meeting purpose it to gather public input on extending OHRV use on a portion of NH Route 16, from the northern intersection of Routes 16/2 in Gorham, and extending north 2,800’ to approximate mile marker 11.65 (Bean property).   The purpose of the extended use proposal is to provide an alternate route out of Gorham for OHRV traffic and to provide access to a parking area for OHRV use.  Public input will be sought on this proposed area only.  

The N.H. Department of Natural and Cultural Resources was established by an act of the Legislature on July 1, 2017.
