Eric Feldbaum named as Director of Community Recreation
Concord, NH, July 12, 2013 – Eric Feldbaum will join the New Hampshire Division of Parks and Recreation as the new Director of Community Recreation. Feldbaum will be responsible for planning and developing a statewide program providing consultation and technical assistance to municipalities and agencies regarding community recreation programs and facilities. He will also work with local volunteer and friends groups to expand outdoor recreation opportunities throughout New Hampshire’s state parks, trails, and historic sites.
As Director of Community Recreation, Feldbaum is also responsible for writing, revising and reviewing technical, informational and training publications, manuals, and pamphlets relative to recreation and parks operation, maintenance, programming and other outdoor recreation topics. He will meet with local communities, agencies, schools, the public and others to provide consultation, training and informational presentations. Feldbaum will also be the Division’s primary coordinator for the Land and Water Conservation Fund grant program, which is funded through the National Park Service and administered in New Hampshire by the Department of Resources and Economic Development.
Feldbaum was previously employed at Eastern Mountain Sports.
