Hampton Beach State Park to Open for the Season

(Hampton Beach, NH - March 29, 2013) – With spring in the air, visitors to Hampton Beach State Park will have full services and most amenities available starting on April 1. The North and South Bathhouses, as well as the Visitor’s Center and Seashell bathrooms will be open with operating hours of 8am – 4pm with increasing hours as the season progresses.

Metered parking will be at a reduced rate of $1.00/hour for the month of April then the meters will be at a rate of $2.00/hour. Park staff will be on hand to help visitors with the parking pay systems and ensure the park is maintained on a daily basis.  

The multi-space pay stations, which accept payments for any metered space, accept cash, coins and credit/debit cards and will issue a receipt for payment. Visitors are reminded to place the receipt face up on their dashboard to avoid being ticketed.
