Public Tours of the New Hampton Beach State Park Seashell Complex Available

(Concord, NH – July 5, 2012) The New Hampshire Division of Parks and Recreation invites the public to tour the new Seashell Complex at Hampton Beach State Park. Tours given by park staff will be held on July 11 at 2pm and 5pm and on July 18 at 10am and 6pm.  Those interested in having a tour will need to make a reservation by emailing seacoastevents@dred.state.nh.us  

The new complex was part of the redevelopment project for Hampton Beach State Park. The project included two new bathhouses, a Visitor Services Building which houses visitor information, public bathrooms, administrative offices and a small conference room. The Park Administration Building contains park operations including State Park Patrol and Park Maintenance. The new Seashell Building contains modern stage support services, public bathrooms, an Oceanfront Conference Room and State Beach Patrol operations.
