In addition, the office is responsible for recreational and public use planning, as well as policy development and implementation for the Division of Parks and Recreation.

The Division, with funding appropriated by the State Legislature, is embarking on a wide range of capital improvement projects statewide. The Planning and Development office provides project updates and information as they become available.
