Discover the Power of Parks
Another season of Discover the Power of Parks programming has come to an end! Check back here again next year for more fabulous program offerings. Thanks to our Interpretive Rangers from the Student Conservation Association who did an incredible job of creating informative and entertaining programs this year. This summer/fall we offered programming in Monadnock, Franconia Notch, Greenfield and White Lake State Parks. Interpretive programs focus on connecting participants with nature and building appreciation for New Hampshire's unmatched natural heritage. Programs include guided hikes, interpretive tours, and imaginative environmental workshops for children and families. Programs are offered free to guests with paid park admission fee. No pre-registration is required.
The 2012 Discover Power of Parks programs started in July and ran into October. Programming will continue in next season. Meet the 2012 Interpretive Rangers who were at these parks guiding outdoor activities and providing conservation information to visitors.
Discover the Power of Parks is presented by New Hampshire State Parks in collaboration with the Student Conservation Association. The Discover the Power of Parks program is made possible by generous financial support from Public Service of New Hampshire.
