Discover the Power of Parks
Welcome to the 2010 Discover the Power of Parks program! As we start year three of the Power of Parks programming our interpreters are excited to experience the outdoors with visitors to the parks. All programs are free with paid admission into the parks. This season programming will take place in the following parks:
Interpretive programs focus on connecting participants with nature and building appreciation for New Hampshire's unmatched natural heritage. Programs include guided hikes, interpretive tours, and imaginative environmental workshops for children and families. Programs are offered free to guests with paid park admission fee. No pre-registration is required.
Discover the Power of Parks is presented by New Hampshire State Parks in collaboration with the Student Conservation Association. The Discover the Power of Parks program is made possible by generous financial support from Public Service of New Hampshire. This fall 2010 The NH Division of Parks and Recreation, is offering a series of interpretive programs free to NH schools and organizations in the Concord/Manchester area. Click here to find out more.
