Once the beach area reaches capacity additional beach goers cannot be admitted due to safety concerns. Silver Lake State Park spans 80 acres and its sandy 1,000-foot beach curves along 34-acre Silver Lake. Popular activities in the park include swimming, picnicking, and boating. Amenities include picnic tables and kayak rentals. Notice: Alcohol prohibited at Silver Lake State Park. This park is always open for recreation unless otherwise posted. During off hours and the off-season the park is typically not staffed, comfort stations are not available and gates may be closed.
