2008 ART FACULTY

ERICK K. ANDERSEN is a graduate of The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. He has won awards for sculpture and has exhibited his art throughout the Northeast. He's also a decorative painter and muralist, and his work has appeared in many leading Showhouses, magazines, and TV, including: Architectural Digest and WGBH, Boston. Eric is a certified yoga instructor who has finely tuned the art of bringing the body, mind, and spirit together for artistic expression.
ANDREA BURZON has been making and selling floorclothes since 1998. You can find her work in several seacoast towns like York, ME, Newburyport and Marblehead, MA. She works out of her studio and art shop, Willowby Wood, in York Village, Maine. She may be contacted at willowbywood@comcast.net 
LEANN WILEY CONNELLY is a graduate of Stanford University. She's best known for her mural work at the Anchorage Inn in Portsmouth, on Helm Street in Newmarket, and in the Cocheco Falls Mills in Dover. Her work has been featured on: "New Hampshire Crossroads," WMURTV as well The Portsmouth Herald, Foster's Daily Democrat and the Manchester Union Leader. She is currently working on her masters in fine arts. She has worked as an artist-in residence at the Portsmouth Middle School and currently works with children at Newmarket Elementary School.
ADELINE GOLDMINC-TRONZO is a painter from France who currently works and teaches in New England. She instructs painting and drawing at the New Hampshire Institute of Art and conducts painting workshops in France and New England. Her work is in numerous private collections in both Europe and the States, where she has also been widely exhibited. She was professionally trained in the seventies at the Art Students League in NYC. DEWITT HARDY has focused on the figure since 1960. His work has been featured in sixteen one-person shows in NYC. It is distributed among 41 museums including the British Museum, the San Francisco Museum, the Smithsonian Institution, the Library of Congress and the Cleveland Art Museum. Hardy teaches at Heartwood College and Sanctuary Arts, both in Maine. View samples of his work at www.askart.com .
DONNA HARKINS has an MFA from Ohio University and has been working professionally for 20 years doing commission portraiture, as well as local and European landscapes. She is the recipient of the 2005 Seacoast Spotlight Award for visual arts. Her paintings can be seen seasonally at the Wentworth-Coolidge and small works all year round at Worldly Goods gallery, with a recent selection of nudes at the Three Graces gallery, both in Portsmouth. BRUCE IVERSON is a painter and photographer who has studied oriental brush painting since 1972 with master Chinese brush painters Jean She, Ning Yeh, and I-Hsiung Ju. He has exhibited in both media in group and juried shows and has had several one-man shows in New England. He has traveled in China for a deeper understanding of the context of Oriental brush painting, and is a member of the NH Art Association.

NORMA MACHADO
has been actively engaged in the New England art scene for the past 30 years. She has taught drawing classes and pastel painting for the NH League of Craftsmen, Art East Teaching Guild, the Brush & Palette, as well as the UNH Department of Continuing Education. She holds signature memberships with the Copley Society of Boston and the Pastel Society of America. In recent years she has been the recipient of several major awards. Her work is included in many private and several corporate collections and may be viewed in several Portsmouth Galleries - Kennedy Studios on Market Street and the Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery on State Street.
PAMELA SAWIN was educated at the Worcester Art Museum School and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She is a commissioned artist and illustrator, as well as a craftsperson for the decorative arts. She has taught the art of metal leafing/gilded arts, interior design/decorating concepts, and marketing for the arts at UNH. ABBY J. WILLIAMS
graduated from Paier College of Art in Hamden, CT., with a major in illustration. She has studied life drawing and painting at Silvermine School of Art (CT.), illustration at Parsons School of Design (NYC), and fashion illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology (NYC). In 2001, Abby studied painting in Cortona, Italy. She lived in NYC from 2001-2007 pursuing her career as a painter. PAMELA DULONG WILLIAMS was educated at the Boston Museum School, Vesper George School of Art, Art Students League (NYC) and Parsons School of Design. She has exhibited throughout the U.S. She has taught portrait painting, still life, design, composition, and introductory painting. She has painted portraits for corporations and private collections.
