The house is a simple two-story white clapboard farmhouse, built in 1884. It has been furnished to reflect the period 1900-1911, when the Frost family lived there. Furnishings which are not original were selected by Lesley Frost Ballantine, the poet's daughter, to be representative of those owned by the family. The dishes in the dining room are authentic. Several small paintings downstairs are the work of Mrs. Frost's sister. |
