On a recent walk-through, the park manager was struck by the variety of vegetation types which are unique to different campsites, inlcuding hardwood forest, deep thickets of softwoods such as spruce, or the majestic white pines that frame many areas.
The construction crew has done an admirable job assembling the infrastructure of the campground, which will help campers enjoy a memorable and convenient camping experience. Most of the roadway construction has been completed, and a number of the campsites have been roughed-out.
