In response to public comment about the Connecticut Lake Headwaters Working Forest Plan, the Commissioner of the Department of Resources and Economic Development, George Bald, is offering a proposed revision. The revision will outline a process, similar to other uses that may allow the use of ATVs on a few of the state-owned roads located adjacent to private lands. The purpose is to provide linkages on the current trail system that is mostly on privately owned property. The proposed revision to section 3.4.5.5 of the plan is posted below. A 30-day public comment period will end on June 3rd. |
