The design team has been busy the last few months working on site and building design.  Many details are being worked out; everything from types of construction materials, heating and cooling systems, and street and interior lights.  We are specifying the highest quality materials and utilizing the most up to date energy efficient equipment.  The Design/Development plans are complete and Working Drawings are 20% complete. Landscape and exterior elevation plans for each of the project areas have been posted to the website and which show a snapshot of what each location might look like. 

Contractually, bids are due on January 21, 2010 to the Bureau of Public Works and DRED from three invited Construction Management firms who were selected from a larger pool of respondents to the Request for Qualifications issued in the fall.  Once the bids are reviewed a final company will be chosen and recommended for approval to Governor and Executive Council at their March meeting.  Spring is just around the corner and we are looking forward to the upcoming construction season!
