The New Hampshire Division of Parks and Recreation recognizes that your pet is an important part of your recreation experience. To serve the needs of all park visitors, there are some parks that allow pets, some parks that allow pets but only in designated areas, and some parks that do not allow pets.* For a complete listing, download Your Family Pet and N.H. *Per Res 7301.08(b): Service animals shall be exempt from all prohibited areas. "Service animal" means any guide dog, signal dog, or other animal individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including, but not limited to, guiding individuals with impaired vision, alerting individuals with impaired hearing to intruders or sounds, providing minimal protection or rescue work, pulling wheelchair, or fetching dropped items
