Ellacoya Program Descriptions

Wildlife Fur-ensics
Ranger Rachel needs your help! Step on the scene and use your wildlife detective skills to decipher the clues that certain furry creatures left behind… How well do you really know your local animals?

Hug a Tree!

If you’re not already a tree hugger, you will be by the end of today! Stretch your legs and join Ranger Rachel for a short nature walk. Along the way, we’ll learn fun facts about trees and the critters that live there, brush up on our identification skills, and even “meet” a tree or two…

Wildlife Olympics
Unleash your inner creature powers for the day and participate in a variety of activities. Can you jump as far as an American toad? Beat out a painted turtle in a breath-holding competition? Find out well you match up to these creatures and then use your creativity to create your own animal.
