Wallis Sands State Park offers oceanfront swimming, views of the Isles of Shoals, and a sandy beach that families especially enjoy. Beach amenities include a store that sells a variety of items, food, and drinks; and a large bathhouse with hot and cold showers. The park has a grassy area with picnic tables, but fires are not allowed. The parking lot can accommodate 500 cars. Prior to visiting seacoast, familiarize yourself with the Seacoast Beach information as well as Seacoast Beach parking options.
Operating Schedule
Wallis Sands State Park opens full-time for the season on May 25, 2013 and closes September 2, 2013.
The operating hours from May 25, 2013 through June 14th, 2013 are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekends and holidays. The operating hours from June 15, 2013 through September 2nd, 2013 are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and 8:00 am to 7:00 pm on weekends and holidays. *Operating dates and times are subject to change without notice. For up to date hours, please call the park directly. Gates close at 8:00 pm daily.
Lifeguarding Schedule: Lifeguards are on duty from May 25th through September 2nd, 2013. Lifeguard hours are 10 am to 5 pm daily.

This park is always open for recreation. During off hours and the off-season the park is typically not staffed and comfort stations are not available and gates may be closed. The off-season poses unique risks inherent when participating in outdoor recreational activities. Please be aware that many State Park areas and trails are not staffed during the off-season, and day-use fees are not collected. Recreationists should possess the necessary knowledge, skill, and equipment to ensure their own safety. Users assume all risk while recreating in State Park lands.
FeesAdmission is $15 per passenger vehicle. NH residents age 65 and over are admitted free. Season passes are available.
