Mollidgewock State Park lies along the shore of the Androscoggin River within Thirteen Mile Woods Scenic Area, approximately 28 miles north of Berlin and three miles south of Errol. The Androscoggin offers great canoeing and kayaking opportunities for both novice and expert paddlers. The area is a favorite of fishing enthusiasts and is popular for watching moose and other wildlife. The offers 44 tent sites; 42 of the sites are located at the base camp and 2 remote sites. Operating Schedule

This park is always open for recreation. During the off-season the park is typically not staffed and comfort stations are not available.

Mollidgewock State Park Campground

Located on NH Route 16, approximately 28 miles north of Berlin and three miles south of Errol, the campground is open for reservable stays from Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend. The primitive tenting campground offers 44 campsites, including remote and canoe-to sites along the Androscoggin and Magalloway Rivers. Water and pit toilets are located in the campground. Wood and ice are offered for sale, and kayaks can be rented. Thirteen Mile Woods Scenic Area, in which the campground is located, is popular for watching moose and other wildlife. The nearby rivers are a favorite among picnickers, anglers, canoeists, and kayakers.

The New Hampshire State Park Experience

I made my home in Mollidgewock State Park at Campsite 42, tucked into the woods at the very edge of the park along a section of quick moving currents. A short trail from the access road led to a small plank bridge over the mud to a wooden tent platform perched just above the river. The sound of the rapids couldn’t have been any closer, and if it weren’t for the thick tree cover I could have literally cast a line from my tent.
