Lake Tarleton State Park is a 48-acre undeveloped park and is easy to find. Lake Tarleton, at 315 acres, offers an unguarded swimming beach and opportunities for fishing and hunting in season. A N.H. Fish and Game boat launch is available less than a quarter mile from the park. Bring a blanket for picnicking in spectacular surroundings - the higher elevation of the park offers beautiful views of the White Mountain National Forest across the lake.
Operating ScheduleThis park is always open for recreation. During the off-season the park is typically not staffed and comfort stations are not available.
The off-season poses unique risks inherent when participating in outdoor recreational activities.
