Lake Francis State Park lies on the shores of Lake Francis a 2,000 acre lake near the Connecticut Lakes of the Great North Woods region. Hunters and anglers enjoy this park as a base for their respective activities. Canoeists enjoy exploring the upper part of the Connecticut River. Lake Francis campground provides 45 sites and opens for walk-in camping beginning on May 3, 2013. Click here for Lake Francis State Park campground information.

Operating Schedule

This park is always open for recreation. During the off-season the park is typically not staffed and comfort stations are not available.

Fri: 9am-8pm
Sat: 8am-9pm
$25 (no hookups)
$35 (waterview)

Please note: Pre-season and post-season camping is first come, first serve and weather permitting. Staffing, services, and facilities may be limited. Please use iron ranger (self-service pay station) during the off season.
