Jenness State Beach is a great family location with an Atlantic ocean-front setting - its sandy beach is ideal for swimming and picnicking. Amenities at the beach include a bathhouse. Metered parking is available for 67 cars. Parking meters are located along Route 1A and accept quarters. Prior to visiting the NH seacoast, familiarize yourself with the Seacoast Beach information as well as Seacoast Beach parking options.
Operating Schedule
Jenness State Beach opens full-time for the season on May 1, 2013 and closes November 1, 2013. Metered Parking hours are from 8:00 am to midnight. The bathhouse at Jenness State Beach is open from May 1st through November 1st.
Lifeguarding Schedule: Lifeguards are on duty from May 28th through September 2nd, 2013. Lifeguard hours are 10 am to 5 pm daily.

This park is always open for recreation. During off hours and the off-season the park is typically not staffed and comfort stations are not available and gates may be closed. The off-season poses unique risks inherent when participating in outdoor recreational activities. Please be aware that many State Park areas and trails are not staffed during the off-season, and day-use fees are not collected. Recreationists should possess the necessary knowledge, skill, and equipment to ensure their own safety. Users assume all risk while recreating in State Park lands.
