Deer Mountain Campground is located in Connecticut Lakes State Forest, adjacent to the Connecticut River between Second and Third Connecticut lakes, Deer Mountain Campground is just five minutes south of the Canadian border. It is adjacent to the stretch of Route 3 north of Pittsburg, referred to as Moose Alley, which makes it a prime location for moose viewing. The campground consists of 25-site primitive campground. Operating Schedule

This park is always open for recreation. During the off-season the park is typically not staffed and comfort stations are not available.

5/10 5/24 10/14 Sun-Mon: 8am-4pm
Fri-Sat: 8am-8pm
$23 (no hook-ups)

Please note: Pre-season and post-season camping is first come, first serve and weather permitting. Staffing, services, and facilities may be limited. Please use iron ranger (self-service pay station) during the off season.
