Upper Coos Recreational Rail Trail

This 10 mile trail travels along the ‘wild and scenic’ Conneticut River from Colebrook to Beecher Falls.  This trail still has rail road tracks on it and is utilized by the local rail car club.  Please use caution!

Permitted Uses

Hike, Bike, Horse, Snowshoe, Nordic, Snowmobile, and Mushing. ATV and Trailbike are permitted with snowcover only.

Parking Areas

Parking is available at the rest area and information center on Route 3.

Connecticut River Recreational Trail Development

Option A – Remove all rails. 
Option B – Leave rail in Stewartstown and Remove rail in Colebrook.
